St. Lucia is one of the prime holiday destinations in the Caribbean! When not kiteboarding or "liming" (the local vernacular for spontaneous partying), there are volcanoes, botanical gardens, rainforests, coastal hikes, intimate waterfalls, historical ruins of sugar plantations from days past and, of course, the rich undersea life easily explored by snorkel or SCUBA!
The north of St. Lucia offers all the restaurants, nightclubs and street festivals, whale watching, yachting and even golf ... it is definitely the tourist destination!

Getting There and Around in St. Lucia

The most convenient airport to The Reef Kite + Surf is Hewanorra International Airport, airport code UVF, located about 5 minutes from the centre! Flying into SLU, St. Lucia's smaller, regional airport, is not too bad, though. It's about an hour and a half drive from the centre.



Wind and Meteo in St. Lucia- Saint Lucia

Best months for wind in St. Lucia are December, January, February, March and June and some of July! 6 months a year - pretty nice!
